Can envy, satanic possession, or jinn possession (jinn of the lover) drive a married woman to commit forbidden acts—such as getting to know another man and sending her naked pictures to a man who is forbidden to her?

Magic and jinn possession can affect an ill person, compelling them to do things involuntarily. They are not held accountable for these actions, as Allah Almighty says: "And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred, but [only for] what your hearts intended." However, if they commit these acts consciously and by choice, then they are held accountable.

If the wife regrets her actions, she must fulfill the conditions of repentance. If she repents and becomes righteous, she should be retained, and her companionship treated with kindness, in order to preserve the family and consider the harms of divorce on the children, especially after you have concealed her faults, for the Prophet said: "Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection."
