What are the ways to attract angels to the home, is this act unlawful, and can angels be invoked by reciting Surat Ya-Sin, based on the hadith "Ya-Sin is for that for which it was recited," with the aim of seeking their supplication and assistance?

Angels are creatures of light, and humans cannot summon or bring them forth; such a claim is a myth.

Allah has assigned some angels to tasks related to humans. Among them are the guardian angels who record the deeds of people and protect them, and among them are those who alternate among us day and night, and among them are those who encompass circles of remembrance (dhikr) and knowledge.

Among the reasons angels supplicate for believers are: faith, teaching good, a Muslim supplicating for his brother in his absence, and consistently maintaining purity, especially when sleeping.

Among the things that prevent angels of mercy from entering homes are: the presence of dogs or images, and ritual impurity (janabah) unless the ritually impure person performs ablution (wudu’). However, the guardian angels and those entrusted with seizing souls enter every home.
