If website owners do not explicitly prohibit the copying or translation of their articles, then there is no harm in transmitting and translating them, provided that their source is attributed. This is because publishing them without restriction constitutes an implicit permission to benefit from them. However, if they explicitly state a prohibition, then it is not permissible to translate them in full without their permission, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Muslims are bound by their conditions," and "The property of a Muslim person is not lawful without his willing consent." Translation involves copying. As for quoting ideas and citing some of what is contained within them, there is no harm in that, and it is a lawful benefit about which there is no disagreement.
