How can one resist the instinctual inclination towards men, given the practice of masturbation for over seven years? - Keep company with the righteous.

- Avoid looking at anything that arouses your desires.

- Seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed, and strive against him with patience and knowledge.

- Pray in the mosque, and feel that you are intimately conversing with your Lord.

- Ponder over what you recite in your prayer.

- Remember Allah's blessings upon you, and that He created you in the best form, honored and favored you, and blessed you with Islam.
