Is it permissible to marry secretly, and is sexual desire a justification for a second marriage, taking into account the desire of both parties to marry?

Marrying a second wife is permissible, especially when there is a strong need for it, such as a man having excessive sexual desire while his first wife does not fulfill his needs, and there is a fear of falling into sin. Nevertheless, marriage is not merely a fleeting desire; rather, it is a responsibility entailing rights and duties. The choice of a wife should be based on religion and character, not solely on admiration or lust, as she will be a mother to children and a guardian of the husband's honor. It is from the Sunnah to marry a virgin due to her faithfulness, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, advised Jabir. It must be noted that it is not permissible to establish relationships with foreign women outside the framework of marriage, nor is it permissible to openly propose marriage during the 'iddah period.
