If a circumambulator or a perambulator doubts the number of their circumambulations or perambulations during the act of circumambulation or perambulation, they should base it on the lesser, certain number, even if they predominantly believe it to be more. However, if the doubt about the number arises after completing the circumambulation or perambulation, this doubt should be disregarded and does not cause any harm.
