What was the wisdom behind Prophet Ishmael's participation with his father, Prophet Abraham, in building the Kaaba?

Ishmael's participation with his father in building the Sacred House is not devoid of wisdom, and it is obligatory to believe in what Allah has informed us. Perhaps among these wisdoms is to demonstrate Ishmael's honor for sharing in Abraham's virtues, the greatest of which is his being honored with the building of Allah's Sacred House.
