Is it permissible to remove sparse hair not connected to the eyebrows, without changing their shape?

The jurists agree that plucking the eyebrow hair falls under namṣ (plucking of hair) which is prohibited. This hair is the hair growing on the bone above the eye, and this includes hair that appears separate from the original eyebrow but grows in the eyebrow bone area. Out of caution, one should leave that which is doubtful, especially since the majority of scholars are of the opinion that plucking facial hair other than the eyebrows also falls under the prohibited namṣ.
