Is dying in an infidel country permissible for its people?

Death is decreed for all people regardless of their location, and the place where a servant dies does not affect him except according to his final outcome. So, whoever was obedient and died in lands of disbelief for a legitimate purpose (such as jihad, da'wah, or medical treatment), that does not harm him. It is obligatory to ensure the burial of a Muslim in Muslim cemeteries. If that is not possible, he should be transported to the nearest Islamic country if there is assurance against alteration and desecration; otherwise, he should be buried where he died. A Muslim must be careful to keep away from living among disbelievers for fear of being influenced by them.
