Is it permissible to work at the reception of a hotel affiliated with the National Bank of Egypt, which is a service facility for bank employees and includes a club and other amenities, given that it receives financial support from the bank? And does the ruling differ if the place is losing money or not? And if working at the reception is permissible, are there other departments in this place where working is impermissible?

It is permissible to work in institutions affiliated with usurious banks, even if their operations are in permissible areas and their capital belongs to the usurious bank, though it is disliked. It is also permissible to conduct transactions with a usurer, whether buying, selling, or leasing. However, it is better for a Muslim to avoid working in such institutions, as usurious banks are waging war against Allah and His Messenger.

However, if the work in the hotel involves prohibited matters such as mixed swimming pools, exposure of 'awrah (private parts), or the presence of intoxicants and musical instruments, then it is not permissible to work in these prohibited areas, as that constitutes cooperation in sin and aggression.
