Does watching immoral content to ensure it is free of obscene and violent clips invalidate my fast?

The fasting person should guard their hearing and sight from what is unlawful, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever does not abandon false speech and acting upon it, and ignorance, Allah has no need for him to abandon his food and drink." And 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Fasting is not merely abstaining from food and drink; rather, it is also abstaining from lying, falsehood, idle talk, and swearing." A fast that does not restrain its observer from unlawful acts is an incomplete fast.

If watching (unlawful content) leads to arousal and the emission of semen due to repeated looking, there are two scholarly opinions: The Hanafis and Shafi'is hold that it does not invalidate the fast, while the Malikis and Hanbalis hold that it invalidates the fast. However, the emission of madhiy (pre-seminal fluid) due to repeated looking does not invalidate the fast.

The advice is to abandon this act, as its harm and negative impact on the heart and soul cannot be denied. And warding off harm takes precedence over attaining benefit.
