Is it permissible for a Muslim who believes in Allah and the Last Day to participate in interfaith dialogue meetings, enter churches and synagogues, and greet and embrace priests and rabbis, knowing that these meetings offer no opportunity for proselytizing, but rather aim to bring the three religions closer?

The fundamentals of faith are united in the heavenly books and prophets, as all call to monotheism, while the branches differ according to time and place. The Jews and Christians distorted their books, thereby altering the fundamentals and laws of their religion, which led to their disbelief and misguidance. Therefore, Muhammad, peace be upon him, was sent to correct what they had corrupted of beliefs and rulings. It is not possible to reconcile different religions due to the conflict between truth and falsehood within them, and the previous religions were abrogated by his mission. It is permissible to conclude a truce or peace treaty to prevent bloodshed when it is not possible to collect jizya, while preserving the dignity of Muslims and not compromising the rulings of Allah.
