How is inheritance divided among a husband and four daughters?

If the deceased leaves behind only a husband and three daughters, the husband receives one-fourth due to the presence of a lineal descendant, and the daughters receive two-thirds. The remainder is returned to the daughters. The estate is divided into sixteen shares: the husband receives one-fourth (four shares), and the remaining twelve shares go to the daughters, both as their obligatory share and as a return of the remainder, with each daughter receiving three shares. The matter of inheritances must be submitted to the Sharia courts for investigation.
