Why did God create lust in humans despite His ability to preserve their honor, and why does He command battling lust and forbid sins, then promise a reward in Paradise where one can enjoy what was forbidden, and how does Islam forbid adultery yet permit a man to consort with slave women and concubines without marriage?

Faith in Allah necessitates submission to His cosmic decree and His legislative command, even if the wisdom behind them is not apparent to humans. For Allah is not questioned about what He does. Delving deeply into questions and doubts about the wisdom of Allah's decree and law can lead to disbelief. Imam al-Tahawi and Ibn Abi al-Izz al-Hanafi warned against this, emphasizing that the foundation of servitude and faith is submission and refraining from questioning the details of wisdom.

The greatest cure for doubts is submission and obedience to Allah. Questions should be for clarification and knowledge, not for obstinacy and defiance, coupled with the firm belief that Allah possesses ultimate wisdom in all His actions.

The creation of desire in humans has great wisdoms, including: testing His servants, the continuation and multiplication of the human race, the fact that the composition of desire is a requirement of humanity, and demonstrating human imperfection to deter arrogance.

As for the Houris in Paradise, there is no problem with that. Marriage is permissible in this world, and the marriage of the people of Paradise to the Houris is a delight for them. This objection only arises from those who confuse marriage with fornication.

There is no connection between fornication and relations with what your right hand possesses. Such a statement is like the saying of the polytheists: "Trade is only like usury." The answer to doubts about the permissibility of what the right hand possesses has been elaborated upon in previous fatwas.
