Why will a woman not get what she desires in Paradise, namely exclusivity with her husband, while a man will be given what he desires, namely polygyny, and why will jealousy be removed from a woman's heart in Paradise, but the love of polygyny not be removed from a man's heart?

One of the tenets of the Sunni creed is that Allah Almighty owes nothing to His servants. He is the All-Doer, the All-Chooser. He may command and forbid, choose, give, and withhold whatever He wills. However, all His decrees and actions are not devoid of profound wisdom and are free from injustice. In Paradise there is what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has conceived. It contains all that souls desire and eyes delight in. The lowest in rank among the people of Paradise will have the like of this world and ten times its like. Allah will remove from women their jealousy over their husbands in Paradise, and He will remove from the hearts of the people of Paradise any resentment or grudges. As for the misconception that a man will have houris while a woman will not have something similar, Allah has not differentiated in the bestowal of rewards in the afterlife between males and females. He has promised both equally the great reward and immense recompense, and that all of them will have in Paradise what souls desire and eyes delight in. As for the reason why the Qur’an details for men their instinctive desires and summarizes them for women, it goes back to the subtle differences between the nature of men and women. A man declares his desires and seeks, while a woman's beauty lies in her restraint and gentleness, and this is what the Lord of mankind takes into account in His discourse.
