Does telling a mother what her son, who has gone astray, is doing constitute "fitna"?

The Sharia encourages one to choose righteous company that helps a person in matters of his religion and uprightness, because it keeps the Muslim firm in his faith. Each party must be keen to ensure that his companion is in the best condition, in his religion and morals. Therefore, if a person sees disgraceful behavior from his brother and friend, he must advise him, correct him, distance him from places of error, help him towards good, and warn him against bad company. If he does not respond to advice, then either these are rare, incidental errors, and in this case there is no need to inform his family, or these errors are continuous behavior and habit, and then his family should be informed, as this falls under enjoining good and forbidding evil.
