What is the ruling on taking an interest-based loan from the state for an agricultural program, if the alternatives are: remaining without income while supporting a family, or losing the expenses of preparing the file, or being stripped of land ownership?

Usury is one of the major sins forbidden by the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and scholarly consensus. It is not permissible to take a usurious loan for agriculture or any other purpose; a person is not obligated to participate in the state's usurious programs, and he must seek another source of livelihood. For the loss of money in this world is easier than the loss of one’s religion. Allah Almighty commanded the messengers and the believers to consume what is lawful and to perform righteous deeds, and the Sharia encouraged seeking what is lawful and abandoning what is unlawful, clarifying that Allah is the Provider.
