Children are a blessing. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged marrying a woman who is fertile. The general rule is not to use contraceptives, except out of necessity and to the extent of that necessity, and with the agreement of both spouses. It is not permissible to completely prevent procreation. It is not permissible to place children in foreign schools due to the resulting corruption of their minds and their abandonment of their religion.
