Will Allah remove the monotheists from the Fire on the Day of Resurrection after the Reckoning has begun, through the intercession of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, even though they only asked him for the Reckoning to begin, and he only prayed for his Ummah?

The difficulty raised by the questioner, brother, has been answered by commentators of old, who stated that intercession (شفاعة) is of different types, occurring in multiple situations. Some narrators preserved what others did not, and some abbreviated the narration in a problematic way.

Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar, in Fath al-Bari, mentioned a problem regarding the order of intercession events in the Hadith of Anas. Iyad, Al-Nawawi, and others responded that the first intercession is for relieving the distress of the Standing (Mawqif), and then comes the intercession for bringing people out of the Fire.

He also pointed out that some narrators abbreviated the Hadith and mentioned the Hadith of Ibn Umar, which confirms that the first intercession is for judgment among creation, and that the intercession for bringing people out of the Fire comes after that.

It is also mentioned in other Ahadith that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, intercedes for expediting the reckoning and for admitting the people of Paradise into Paradise, which indicates the succession of events on the Day of Resurrection.

Al-Tibi presented another answer, suggesting the possibility that "the Fire" in some contexts refers to the distress and hardship of the Standing, and not the Hellfire, or that there are two separate exits.

As for the phrase "My Ummah, My Ummah" in the Hadith of Anas, it has been said that it is not present in most narrations, and that it might be an addition from some narrators, and that the first intercession was for relieving the horror of the Standing.
