Who were the neighbors of the Prophet Muhammad in Medina?

The Prophet (peace be upon him) arrived in Medina, and the Ansar competed to host him, but he said to his she-camel, "Let her go, for she is commanded." So, she knelt where the Prophet's Mosque is today. Then, Abu Ayyub al-Ansari promptly offered to host him, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "A man is with his close companion," and in a narration by Bukhari, "Which of the houses of our people is closest to us?" So Abu Ayyub said, "It is I, O Messenger of Allah, this is my house and this is my door," and Abu Ayyub hosted him. The Banu Najjar were proud of this proximity, and their young girls chanted, "We are young women from the Banu Najjar How beloved is Muhammad as a neighbor." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Allah knows that my heart loves you." Some of the Muhajirun also became his neighbors, such as Abu Bakr, Ali, and Al-Abbas.
