What is the time span between the prophets of firm resolve, especially between Ibrahim and Muhammad (peace be upon them both), and how long did the idolaters spend worshipping idols after abandoning the Abrahamic religion?

The narrations vary regarding the determination of the time periods between prophets, except for what has been mentioned in the texts of revelation. Some scholars stated that there were ten centuries between Noah and Abraham, ten centuries between Abraham and Moses, 1700 years between Moses and Jesus, and 600 years between Jesus and Muhammad.

In Al-Durr Al-Manthur, it is narrated from Ibn Abbas: There were a thousand years between Adam and Noah, a thousand years between Noah and Abraham, seven hundred years between Abraham and Moses, 1500 years between Moses and Jesus, and six hundred years between Jesus and our Prophet.

Al-Bukhari narrated from Salman: The period between Jesus and Muhammad was 600 years.

Ibn Hibban narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There were ten centuries between Adam and Noah, and ten centuries between Noah and Abraham."

As for the period during which polytheism existed after Abraham, no specific time has been determined for it, and it varies depending on different times and places.
