What is the ruling on performing ablution with water sterilized by ultraviolet radiation?

If the water sterilized by radiation remains as it is, without change in its taste, color, or smell, then it is pure (tahoor) and it is permissible to purify oneself with it. The basic principle regarding water is that it is pure. However, if one of its characteristics changes due to sterilization, then it is not permissible to purify oneself with it. Sterilizing water with radiation does not affect it, therefore it remains pure (tahoor) and it is permissible to purify oneself with it.
