Is it permissible to work in Western countries and America due to the lack of good opportunities in one's home country, provided that one is committed and there are no forbidden things in the job?

Residing in lands of disbelief and permissiveness entails harm and corruption for one's religion and morals, as is evident in the condition of many Muslim children living there, where their religion and morals become corrupted and their families disintegrate. Therefore, the soundness of one's religion and character is more important than any fleeting worldly pleasure. And whoever fears Allah, He will provide for him from where he does not expect, and whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better. So, let a person fear his Lord and be moderate in seeking his guaranteed sustenance, for every path that leads to the corruption of religion and morals is forbidden for a Muslim to tread.
