What is the ruling on raising the voice in ذكر (remembrance of God) after prayer, such as saying "Astaghfirullah (I seek forgiveness from God) three times, O Allah, You are As-Salam (the Source of Peace), and from You comes all peace, blessed are You, Possessor of Majesty and Honor," and what follows it, like Ayat al-Kursi and tasbihat (glorifications), in congregation? And is the prayer upon the Prophet -may God's peace and blessings be upon him- completed if it is said out of its proper place?

Loudly reciting remembrance (dhikr) after prayer is a matter of scholarly disagreement, and some scholars do not consider it legislated except for teaching the congregants. If you hear the mention of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while you are performing dhikr, interrupt your dhikr and send blessings upon him, then return to your dhikr. For sending blessings upon him is highly emphasized upon hearing his mention, even if it is repeated. Some scholars have even deemed it obligatory, based on his statement, peace and blessings be upon him: "The miser is he in whose presence I am mentioned, and he does not send blessings upon me," and "May he be humiliated, a man in whose presence I am mentioned, and he does not send blessings upon me."
