What are the consequences for a man who entered ihram for Umrah as mutamatti‘, then exited his ihram after Umrah, then entered ihram for Hajj on the Day of Tarwiyah, but then lost his money and fell into a coma that put him in the hospital, and he did not witness ‘Arafah, in two cases: 1. If he stipulated (“in ḥabasanī ḥābis” – if I am prevented by a hindrance)? 2. If he did not stipulate?

Whoever misses standing at 'Arafah, such that the dawn of the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr) breaks upon him and he has not stood there, has missed the Hajj.

If he had not stipulated a condition at the beginning of his ihram, then he must perform an 'umrah to exit ihram, and he is obligated to make up the Hajj and offer a sacrificial animal (hady), or remain in ihram to perform Hajj the following year.

However, if he stipulated a condition at the beginning of his ihram and then missed the Hajj, he may exit ihram and owes nothing.
