What is incumbent upon me after I made the intention for ‘Umrah in Ta’if, then I changed my mind about going to Makkah, then I went to Makkah without performing ‘Umrah, and after that I performed another ‘Umrah from Ta’if?

Hajj and Umrah must be completed if one has entered into a state of ihram for them, and it is not permissible to annul them except for a legitimate Shar'i excuse. Thus, the Umrah performed after the annulment is considered on behalf of the first Umrah. The prohibitions of ihram that were committed during the period of ignorance of their prohibition are excused. Ihram is not annulled merely by intending to annul it, and the Umrah remains valid. There is no penalty for one who commits the prohibitions of ihram out of ignorance, forgetfulness, or compulsion.
