Is it permissible to travel to the Land of the Two Holy Mosques for the purpose of seeking knowledge and earning lawful sustenance, given the limited time and the difficulty of combining work and seeking knowledge in my own country?

A Muslim should not abandon the pursuit of sacred knowledge and understanding of the religion, due to the high status of knowledge in the sight of Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty said: "Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees." And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If Allah wills good for someone, He grants him understanding of the religion," and "The superiority of the scholar over the worshiper is like the superiority of the moon on a full moon night over all other stars. Indeed, the scholars are the inheritors of the prophets."
