Is worship in times of ease better than it is during tribulation? And will the people of Palestine have a higher rank in Paradise due to their jihad? And how do we know that we are striving like them when we do not face the same tribulations they do, or is prosperity a tribulation? And what should one do then to attain contentment when their tribulations are heard daily, causing one to lose interest in work and feel disheartened?

Allah Almighty created humans to test them and distinguish the wicked from the good. This test involves both Shar'i (legal) and Qadari (divine decree) rulings, encompassing what we dislike, such as calamities, and what we love, such as wealth. The test is not limited to adversity but also includes prosperity, and sometimes prosperity can be more severe. The believer is tested in all circumstances, oscillating between gratitude and patience, and in each state there is good. Thus, the believer is rewarded and beloved by Allah. The people of Palestine are steadfast defenders (Murabitun) and receive the reward of defending the faith and martyrdom in the cause of Allah. Those who cannot participate in jihad with them should sincerely intend to do so and support them materially and morally, and they will receive a similar reward. Feelings of frustration are from Satan, and adversity only increases the believer's resilience. The believer trusts in Allah's promise of victory and that the ultimate outcome is for the pious.
