ما صحة الحديث: "اللهم أحيني مسكينًا وأمتني مسكينًا واحشرني في زمرة المساكين"؟ وهل يصح قتل من قال إن النبي مسكين؟

First: The Hadith, "O Allah, make me live as a miskin, and make me die as a miskin, and gather me with the company of the misakin on the Day of Resurrection," is weak. Most Hadith scholars have deemed it weak. Those who considered it hasan (good) or sahih (authentic) interpreted it as humility, not poverty. However, the context of the Hadith indicates that what is meant is a lack of wealth, due to the mention of the misakin entering Paradise before the wealthy, which further confirms the weakness of the Hadith.

Second: Describing the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as a "miskin" does not automatically necessitate killing; rather, the intent of the speaker must be inquired about. If the intent is humility, then that is true. If the intent is a lack of wealth, it is plausible, as the Prophet lived a life of sufficiency. However, if the intent is disparagement and contempt, then that is apostasy that necessitates killing, for anything considered by custom to be an insult and a denigration of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is considered an insult.
