Is it permissible for a Muslim lawyer to bury a Jewish woman who embraced Islam and then apostatized, in Jewish cemeteries after her death, or is it obligatory for him to wash her and bury her in Muslim cemeteries?

Effort must be made to instruct those whose conversion to Islam is recent and to teach them the pillars of the religion. This includes seeking out righteous women to contact the elderly woman and teach her matters of her religion, especially prayer. If the woman dies, she is to be buried in Muslim cemeteries, even if she did not pray; this is a matter of consensus. As for defending Jews, one must investigate carefully; defending them in falsehood is forbidden by شرع (Islamic law), based on the Almighty's saying: "And do not argue on behalf of those who deceive themselves" and "And do not be an advocate for the traitors." As for defending them in truth, it is permissible, provided that it does not necessitate resorting to unlawful courts.
