What is the ruling regarding the first wife saying that there is no reward for the husband in sponsoring the orphans of his second wife because he married her, and regarding her cursing her and her husband and children with abusive language?

The husband's kindness to his wife's children carries great reward, and his marriage to another woman does not prevent him from attaining this reward. If the other wife harms the first wife with bad words, she is sinful and transgressing, and the husband must stop her. We advise the first wife to be patient and not to pay attention to what the other wife says, as jealousy between co-wives is an inherent human trait, and this even occurred in the house of the Prophet, peace be upon him. The Prophet, peace be upon him, excused the action of the Mother of the Believers by saying: "Your mother became jealous," because jealousy is ingrained in the soul. And in the hadith, there is an indication that a jealous woman is not held accountable for what emanates from her; because her intellect is veiled by the intense anger aroused by jealousy.
