What are the wife's rights over her husband regarding maintenance, clothing, gifts, and travel, and what are the limits of her obedience to him in these matters?

The husband is not obliged to obey his wife and travel with her to her country unless this was stipulated in the marriage contract. Cosmetics, salon fees, and gifts are not part of the obligatory maintenance (nafaqa); rather, the obligatory maintenance includes food, clothing, drink, and housing, all in accordance with what is customary (bil-ma'ruf). As for the wife's clothing, it must be sufficient for her, and jurists have differed regarding its estimation, whether based on the husband's financial status or on what is sufficient for her. The man has the right of qawamah (guardianship/headship) over his wife, and she must obey him in what is good (ma'ruf). Qawamah means managing her affairs, keeping her in her home, and disciplining her. It is not about dominance and oppression. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, urged believers to fear Allah regarding women and to treat them kindly.
