Is it true that deeds are raised in Sha'ban and good deeds are multiplied in it?

Deeds are presented to Allah Almighty in the month of Sha'ban, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "That is a month people neglect, between Rajab and Ramadan. It is a month in which deeds are raised to the Lord of the worlds, and I love for my deeds to be raised while I am fasting." As for the multiplication of good deeds therein, there is no evidence for it. However, the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to fast frequently during it, as Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "I never saw him fast more than he did in Sha'ban."
