Does God's existence above the heavens imply limitation, and does this contradict His absolute perfection, and does His being within the lowest heavens 24 hours a day negate the need to mention the attribute of descent?

One must believe that Allah has described Himself with loftiness, for He, Glory be to Him, is above His heavens, upon His Throne, distinct from His creation. The meaning of "in the heaven" is "above the heaven," not inside it. As for the word "limit" (حد), it has not been mentioned in Islamic law, neither in negation nor affirmation. The divine descent should not be understood as the descent of a creature, for Allah descends to the lowest heaven in the last third of the night while remaining established on His Throne. This does not necessitate His indwelling in the heaven, for His descent does not resemble the descent of His creation.
