The obsessive whispers (waswas) have greatly affected you, and the cure for them is to completely ignore them, in detail. No matter how much Satan whispers to you about a certain thing being impure, do not pay attention to his whispers. Know that the fundamental principle regarding all things is purity, and you should not deviate from this principle except with absolute certainty. You draw closer to Allah Almighty by ignoring these whispers. The method of drenching an impure bed with water is sufficient to purify it, and you do not need to wipe it with another cloth. If you sit with wet clothes on an impure place, the impurity will not transfer to your clothes according to one of the scholarly opinions, and you are permitted to act upon this opinion until Allah grants you healing.
