Is it impermissible or blameworthy to teach women what leads to their appearance on television—as part of a media training center project that offers courses in directing, editing, screenwriting, cinematography, preparing male and female presenters, and cinematic makeup—especially given the presence of mixing (of genders) at the venue?

The fields of media and cinema are often tools for spreading indecency and alienating society, and working to prepare specialized cadres for their production is considered cooperation in sin and aggression. However, if the training pertains to permissible or Islamic works, such as preparing cadres to produce Islamic works or religious channels, then this is considered cooperation in righteousness and piety and a means of reforming society. As for the appearance of women in media, even if she is a caller to Allah, it is not permissible. However, it is permissible to train women for media work without their images appearing, provided it adheres to Sharia guidelines.
