What is the ruling on one who doubted a wet dream after the Farewell Tawaf and proceeded to Madinah without repeating the Tawaf or performing ghusl, and is his Tawaf valid, knowing that the doubt only arose after the Tawaf and returning to his residence?

The majority of jurists hold that purity is a condition for the validity of Tawaf. If you become certain of nullifying your ablution during the Farewell Tawaf:
- If the Tawaf was for 'Umrah, it is supererogatory and nothing is incumbent upon you.
- If it was for Hajj, then a compensatory sacrifice (dam) is incumbent upon you. It must be slaughtered in Mecca and distributed among the poor of the Haram. You may either slaughter it yourself or appoint someone to slaughter it on your behalf.
