Is it true that the Companions used the description "Luti" (sodomite) for men who sing and dance, and is it true that the purity of the dawn air is due to hypocrites not being awake at that time, and which scholars have stated this?

Firstly: A "Sodomite" is one who commits the act of the people of Lut (Lot), and this term is not applied to someone who practices singing or dancing. Rather, such a person is called a "mukhannath" (effeminate man); this is a man who imitates women in his walk, speech, and other aspects. The early Muslims (Salaf) used to call a male singer a mukhannath because singing, playing the tambourine (duff), and clapping were considered acts of women.

Secondly: What has spread about the purity of the dawn air due to its being free from the breaths of hypocrites has no basis in Islamic law and has not been reported from any of the scholars.
