Is it permissible to salute the flag, with or without music, and what should a student do if it is not permissible, and should he participate in it for fear of problems with the administration?

The Permanent Committee issued a fatwa prohibiting saluting the flag. As for whoever is compelled to salute the flag, he should not intend in his heart to glorify it. If he fears harm from the school principal, he should perform what removes the harm from himself.
