Is it permissible to say "Astaghfirullah Al-Azim" (I seek forgiveness from Allah, the Mighty) during distress and hardship, or is that not permissible?

What is appropriate during anger is to seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan, and during a calamity, to say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." And seeking forgiveness is legislated for bringing blessings and warding off misfortunes, and it is a means for attaining mercy and provisions. It is legislated to say it during distress and anguish, to ask for relief and the removal of worry, while contemplating its meaning.
