What is the ruling on participating in a family solidarity association that aims to materially and morally assist family members in holding mourning gatherings and weddings, knowing that these weddings involve mixing, reprehensible acts, extravagance, and obligating the groom to borrow money for them?

If occasions are predominantly characterized by reprehensible acts, then it is not permissible to participate in their funding; because cooperation should be on righteousness and piety, not on sin and aggression, in accordance with His, the Almighty's, saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty."
