The answer

The Qur'an is a healing and a mercy for the believers. Surat Al-Baqarah expels devils, nullifies magic, and cures the evil eye. The entire Qur'an is a healing. It has been reported regarding the virtue of Surat Al-Baqarah that it is a cause for healing from the evil eye, especially its last two verses, and that Satan flees from a house in which it is recited, and that taking it is a blessing and abandoning it is a regret, and that the sorcerers (charlatans) cannot overcome it. For everything there is a hump, and the hump of the Qur'an is Surat Al-Baqarah. Whoever recites it at night, Satan will not enter his house for three nights. Whoever recites its last two verses at night, they will suffice him. Whoever recites Ayatul-Kursi after every obligatory prayer will not be prevented from entering Paradise except by death. Two verses from Surat Al-Baqarah were revealed by Allah two thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth, and they are not recited in a dwelling for three nights but that no devil approaches it. "Taking Al-Baqarah" means consistently reciting it and acting upon it, which is a blessing, i.e., an increase, growth, and great benefit.
