What is the correct and sufficient way to protect oneself from the evil eye and jinn, and is merely reciting the morning and evening remembrances sufficient for protection, or is it necessary to blow and wipe the body, and is it obligatory to wipe the entire body, including the private parts and the ends of the feet?

It is recommended to seek Allah's help and rely on Him, while being cautious of whispers (waswas) and delusions. One should use protective supplications (ta'awwudhat) and lawful incantations (ruqya shar'iya), such as reciting the Two Protectors (Al-Mu'awwidhatayn), the Opening of the Book (Surat Al-Fatihah), and the Verse of the Throne (Ayat Al-Kursy). Also, one should recite the prophetic supplications with presence of heart and tongue, and sincere turning to Allah. It is also advised to adhere to acts of obedience, such as praying in congregation, diligently observing remembrances (dhikr), and reciting the Quran, especially Surat Al-Baqarah, Al-Ikhlas, and Al-Mu'awwidhatayn. It is confirmed to blow with spittle (an-nafth) during ruqya and before sleep, by reciting Al-Ikhlas and Al-Mu'awwidhatayn and wiping over the body.
