Is it permissible for someone who wears trousers, or is clean-shaven, or smokes, or commits sins, or uncovers his head, or turns his head during prayer, or moves excessively during prayer, or trims his beard, to lead people in prayer?

We have previously issued fatwas regarding the ruling on a bald-headed person leading prayer, as well as a smoker, a clean-shaven person, and someone who trims his beard without a valid excuse. As for leading prayer in trousers: if they are wide and do not describe the 'awrah, then the prayer of the wearer is permissible without being disliked. If they are tight and describe the 'awrah, then the prayer is valid but disliked, and it is disliked for him to lead prayer, and wearing tight trousers is generally disliked. As for someone who moves excessively in prayer without necessity, it is not permissible for him to lead people in prayer because his prayer is invalid.
