The answer

Praise be to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon His Messenger. A Muslim should not engage in matters they do not have knowledge of, especially in religious affairs, as Allah says: "And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge." If the other person is more knowledgeable and strongly opinionated, it is best to avoid discussing issues that require specialization.

Belief in all prophets is obligatory, and Jesus (peace be upon him) is among the best and most steadfast ones. However, he is neither God nor the son of God, nor was he crucified, as stated in the Qur'an. Islamic belief requires respecting and honoring the prophets, as they hold the highest ranks of servitude to Allah. Allah has praised those who uphold monotheism and dedicate their reliance and sufficiency to Him alone.

For those interested in further exploration of this subject, they may refer to debates and specialized books, such as the works of Sheikh Ahmed Deedat (may Allah have mercy on him).
