Is it permissible to continue an engagement to a young man to whom one was forced to marry, while also masturbating over the phone with another young man?
Islamic law grants the woman the authority to accept or reject a suitor, and no one has the right to force her to marry someone she does not desire. If the marriage contract is concluded without her consent, it is suspended pending her approval, and she has the right to either ratify or annul it.
As for continuing the relationship with the young man, speaking with him, and engaging in masturbation with him, these are reprehensible acts from which one must immediately repent. Parental coercion is not an excuse for committing them. The young man must also repent to Allah.
If the marriage is annulled, you may marry this young man, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Nothing like marriage is seen for those who love one another." If the marriage does not materialize, then sever all ties with him and fear Allah.
