Does the website only transmit scholarly fatwas, or does it engage in ijtihad (independent reasoning) in issuing fatwas? And if it does engage in ijtihad, can it do so in estimating the nisab (minimum taxable amount) for zakat using gold or silver? And does not seeing Allah in this world contradict the verse: {And [recall] when you said, "O Moses, we will not believe you until we see Allah outright"; so the thunderbolt struck you while you were looking on} (2:55)?

The methodology followed in fatwas is to refer to the Qur’an and Sunnah and the understanding of the righteous predecessors of the Ummah, and to choose what is closest to the evidence and the objectives of Sharia when there are multiple opinions.

Seeing Allah in this world is not possible for anyone. The Children of Israel requested it and were punished.

The estimation of the nisab for paper currency is determined by what is more beneficial for the poor, whether gold or silver.
