What is the meaning of the Hadith: "If one of you finds a rizz in his prayer, let him leave and perform ablution," or "let him perform ablution"?

The narration attributed to Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning one who finds "rumbling, vomiting, or nosebleed" in their stomach during prayer, and is instructed to leave, perform ablution, and then continue his prayer as long as he has not spoken, is a stopped (mawquf) narration attributed to him and is authentic from him. However, what has been reported with this meaning as being elevated (marfu') to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is weak due to the discontinuity of its chain of narration and the weakness of its narrators.

Scholars have differed on adopting this narration: The Hanafis affirmed it and cited the elevated (marfu') hadith of Aishah (which is weak) as proof. In contrast, the majority (Shafi'is, Hanbalis, Malikis) disagreed, their evidence being that whoever's ablution is nullified must repeat both the ablution and the prayer.
