Is it permissible in Islamic law for a woman to demand what is known as "Bayt al-Taa'a" (House of Obedience)?

The term "house of obedience" is an intruder; no religious text has mentioned it, nor has it been referenced in the discourse of scholars or their writings. Rather, it is a legislation from man-made laws, and therefore it is not permissible to resort to it. Many contemporary scholars have denounced it.
