He who cannot achieve chastity with one wife and fears falling into the unlawful, is permitted to marry a second, a third, and a fourth, provided he is able to bear the expenses of marriage and deal justly between his wives, in order to attain tranquility, lower his gaze, and find peace of mind. He must repent from viewing pornographic websites, while being keen on lowering his gaze, which strengthens the husband's contentment with his wife, whereas letting the gaze roam makes the husband lose interest in her.
